Eastman Chemical Company: Tennessee IT Women Promote IT at Happy Valley High

On April 12^th, Eastman Chemical Company IT (Information Technology) employees: Victoria Welch, Ana Maria Johnson, Jamie Carder, Polly Tjader and Kapunza Kinunda presented an enlightening IT panel discussion to an audience of approximately 80 persons at Happy Valley High School. Happy Valley High School is located in Elizabethton in Carter County TN.

The presenters mesmerized the audience with inspiring stories of their journeys including obstacles and diverse circumstances that brought them to IT careers. They also discussed the national and local IT talent crisis, gender bias and infinite job opportunities for women in the field of Information Technology.
