The 2010 Year 2 TN AITES Workshop

The 2010 Year 2 TN AITES workshop was held on October 14^th and 15^th at the Sullivan County Department of Education building in Blountville, TN. We had a great workshop!
 

On Thursday, October 14^th our AITES Content Specialists presented to the TN CCT members. Mike Couch, a member of the AITES TN State Partners Board and the Director of Eastman Chemical Company’s Global IT Business Systems joined us on Thursday morning. Mike spoke with the TN CCT members about local IT opportunities in Sullivan and Carter Counties.
 

On Friday, October 15^th Nancy A. Durant, a member of the AITES TN State Partners Board and Program Coordinator for the Lee Family Learning Center, a program of the Kingsport Housing & Redevelopment Authority, joined the TN CCT members on an IT Industry site visit  to Bailey Computing Technologies (BCT).
 

At BCT the TN CCT members learned about  local IT employment opportunities and IT-certificate requirements.
