"Got IT?" Lunch and Learn in Elizabethton, TN

Twenty Carter County TN Health Council members including business leaders, healthcare professionals, educational leaders, and community representatives attended a catered AITES Lunch and Learn session during their regularly scheduled meeting at the Truman Clark Annex in Elizbethton, TN. Beth Wolfe and Camille Jessee, CCT Members from Carter County, enthusiastically presented the AITES message including barriers that girls encounter when considering IT careers, the future of local IT job opportunities, and the role of secondary stokers. The audience discussed IT needs in their respective career fields, and brainstormed creative ways to share the AITES message in their personal and professional lives. In her role as secondary stoker, one ETSU Nursing Professor planned to share the AITES message with 200 nursing students at ETSU!
